The first part of the practice guidance series supports the implementation of Getting It Right For Every Child (GIRFEC). It promotes a rights-based approach to working with children, young people and families in a joined-up and coordinated way, and outlines the use of the Wellbeing wheel, the Resilience Matrix and the My World triangle to assess a wellbeing need and develop a plan for support.
